  • How many accounts can I add?

    The number of social media accounts you can add to your SocialQ dashboard depends on your subscription plan:

    • Basic plan: 20 social media accounts
    • Standard plan: 40 social media accounts
    • Premium plan: 60 social media accounts

  • Can I buy additional accounts?

    Yes, you can buy access to additional social media accounts. Just send us a message.

  • Is there a storage limit?

    The size of the storage limit on the File Manager where you can keep your uploaded photos and videos depends on the subscription plan:

    • Basic plan: 1,024 MB of photos and videos
    • Standard plan: 3,172 MB of photos and videos
    • Premium plan: 5,120 MB of photos and videos

    For photos we support jpg, jpeg, png, and gif. For video files we support mp4.

    No, currently the SocialQ platform does not support PDF files.

  • From where can I upload files?

    You can upload photo and video files for the social media posts that you are scheduling or in your File Manager on SocialQ in 4 different ways:

    • 1)From your device, whether a desktop or a mobile
    • 2)From Google Drive
    • 3)From a media link
    • 4) From Dropbox

  • What is the maximum file size I can upload?

    • The maximum file size you can upload on SocialQ is 1,000 MB, regardless of your subscription plan.

  • Can I schedule posts for one year ahead?

    • Yes, absolutely, on SocialQ you can schedule social media posts for one year ahead or even more. The only limitation is that the total size of the photo and video files stored in your File Manager does not exceed the storage limit for your plan:

      • Basic plan: 1,024 MB
      • Standard plan: 3,172 MB
      • Premium plan: 5,120 MB

  • Is there a limit on how many posts I can have scheduled?

    • No, there is no limit. On SocialQ you have access to unlimited scheduling on all platforms available in your subscription plan. The only restriction is that the photo and video files stored in your File Manager do not exceed the total file storage size available for your plan:

      • Basic plan: 1,000 MB
      • Standard plan: 3,172 MB
      • Premium plan: 5,120 MB

  • Can I schedule posts for one year ahead?

    • Yes, absolutely, on SocialQ you can schedule social media posts for one year ahead or even more. The only limitation is that the total size of the photo and video files stored in your File Manager does not exceed the storage limit for your plan:

      • Basic plan: 1,024 MB
      • Standard plan: 3,172 MB
      • Premium plan: 5,120 MB

  • Do you have a hashtags tool?

    When scheduling posts on SocialQ, you can add hashtags with the # symbol followed by the hashtag that you want to add. However, currently we do not have a tool which helps you choose the best hashtags for your post.

  • Where can I see my published and failed posts?

    You can see your published and failed posts as well as scheduled posts in the Schedules section. Click on the Schedules tab in the left-hand side menu. Check out:

    • The Published social media schedule for your posts published through SocialQ
    • The Unpublished social media schedule for your posts which failed to get published by SocialQ
    • The Queue social media schedule for your posts scheduled for publishing on SocialQ

    You can further filter your social media calendar view for published, unpublished, and queue posts by social media platform by selecting:

    • All schedules
    • Facebook post
    • Instagram post
    • LinkedIn post
    • Twitter post
    • YouTube post

  • Will my posts say “Published by SocialQ” on my social media accounts?

    Only you as an admin of your social media accounts as well as the other admins will be able to see this message. Your users and followers will not see it. Posts scheduled through SocialQ look exactly like posts published directly on each social media platform.

  • Can I delete posts published through SocialQ from the platform?

    No, currently you cannot delete the social media posts published through SocialQ from our platform. You can delete by visiting the network where they are published.

  • Is there a mobile app?

    No, currently there is no SocialQ mobile app. However, the SocialQ social media management tools work equally well on desktop and mobile devices.

  • How to Add an Instagram Account

    • From the SocialQ home page, go to your Dashboard.
    • Click on the Account Manager tab in the left-hand side menu of the Dashboard.
    • Make sure that you are currently logged into the Instagram account that you want to add from the same device. This will assure optimal performance and experience.
    • 1)Click on Add Instagram profile.
    • 2)Enter your Instagram username and Instagram password in the relevant fields.
    • 3)Click on Add profile. (Please note that if the page freezes at this point, you will need to refresh the page, reenter your Instagram username and Instagram password, and resubmit them.)
    • 4)If your Instagram account has a two-way authentication, you will be sent a 6-digit security code to the mobile phone number associated with your Instagram account or to your email address associated with your Instagram account. 5)Enter the 6-digit security code in the Verification Code field.
    • 6)Click on Add profile. The Success message confirms that your Instagram account has been successfully added to SocialQ.
    • 7)If this is the first time that you add your Instagram account to SocialQ, you will need to go to your Instagram account and approve access to our app. This is an absolutely safe step and is required so that you can schedule posts through SocialQ which uses a server different from your local server.

    8)You can now see your newly added Instagram account on your Account Manager page.

    • To delete an Instagram account from your SocialQ
    • dashboard, go to the Account Manager page, click on the 3 dots on the Instagram account you want to delete, and click on Delete.

  • How to Schedule a Post on Instagram

    1. Click on the Instagram tab in the left-hand side menu on your SocialQ dashboard.
    2. Click on the Post tab.
    3. Select the Instagram account(s) on which you want to schedule a post. With SocialQ, you can schedule a post on multiple Instagram or other social media accounts simultaneously.
    4. Choose one of the following options:
      • Media: to schedule a post with a single photo or video
      • Story: to schedule an Instagram story post
      • IGTV: to schedule a post with a longer video
      • Carousel: to schedule a post with multiple photos or videos
    5. Add the media you want to post. You can choose to:
      • Upload files from your File Manager on SocialQ
      • Upload files from your device
      • Upload files from Google Drive
      • Upload files from a media link
    6. Type in a caption for your Instagram post in the relevant field. You can include hashtags.
    7. Click on the Advanced Option tab for more options.
    8. Optional: Start typing in your location and select from the drop-down menu to add your location to your Instagram post.
    9. Optional: Type in the first comment to your post.
    10. Review your Instagram post in the right-hand side of the dashboard to make sure everything looks good.
    11. Select the Schedule option to schedule your Instagram post to be published at a later time.
    12. Enter the time when you want your post to be published on Instagram in the Publish date and time field.
    13. If you are scheduling the same post to be published on multiple accounts, select the interval between the posting on different accounts in the Time gap between posting (in minutes). The number you enter will be in minutes.
    14. If you want your post to be reposted multiple times, set the frequency with which you want to report it in the Repost every (days) field. To have your post published just once, set this field to 0. Set up the final date for reposting in the Repost Until field.
    15. Click on Schedule.
    16. You can go to Schedules in the left-hand side menu and choose Queue to confirm that your post has been scheduled for publication.

  • Why do I need a security code to add an Instagram account?

    You need to enter a 6-digit security code when connecting your Instagram account to the SocialQ dashboard if your Instagram account requires two-factor authentication. This depends on the setup of your Instagram account. You will be sent this 6-digit code either by email to the email address associated with your Instagram account or as an SMS to the mobile phone number associated with your Instagram account.

  • Can I schedule posts with multiple photos or videos on Instagram?

    Yes, absolutely,  you can schedule social media posts with multiple photo and video files on Instagram through the SocialQ platform. To do that, please use the Carousel option on the Instagram Post page.

  • Is posting on Facebook included?

    Posting on Facebook business pages and Facebook groups where you are an admin is available with all SocialQ.

    Please note that as per Facebook policies and regulations you cannot post on Facebook personal profiles and Facebook groups where you don’t have an admin access.

  • How to Add and Post on a Facebook Group

    How to Add a Facebook Group

    1. 1)Go to the group page from your Facebook account. From Edit Group Settings, click on Add Apps. Find SocialQ and click on Add.
    2. 2)From the SocialQ home page, go to your Dashboard.
    3. 3)Click on the Account Manager tab in the left-hand side menu of the Dashboard.
    4. Make sure that you are currently logged into the Facebook account to which the groups is linked from the same device. This will assure optimal performance and experience.
    5. 4)Click on Add Facebook group.
    6. If you are not logged into your Facebook account from the same device, you will need to enter your Facebook username or email and Facebook password.
    7. 5)Allow the app to post content into the group on your behalf.
    8. Select the Facebook group which you want to add to SocialQ. If you don't see the desired Facebook group, click on Re-connect with Facebook.
    9. 6)Click on Add profile. The Success message confirms that your Facebook has been successfully added to SocialQ.

    How to Schedule a Post on a Facebook Group

    1. 1)Click on the Facebook tab in the left-hand side menu on your SocialQ dashboard.
    2. 2)Click on the Post tab.
    3. 3)Select the Facebook group(s) on which you want to schedule a post. With SocialQ, you can schedule a post on multiple Facebook groups or other social media accounts simultaneously.
    4. You can schedule a post in the following formats:
      • Photo
      • Video
      • Link
      • Text
    5. Add the media you want to post. You can choose to:
      • Upload files from your File Manager on SocialQ
      • Upload files from your device
      • Upload files from Google Drive
      • Upload files from a media link
    6. Type in a caption for your Facebook group post in the relevant field. You can include hashtags.
    7. 7)Review your Facebook group post in the right-hand side of the dashboard to make sure everything looks good.
    8. 8)To publish your post immediately, click on Post. The message will confirm that your post has been successfully published.
    9. 9)To schedule your Facebook group post for publication at a later time, select the Schedule option.
    10. Enter the time when you want your post to be published on the Facebook group in the Publish date and time field.
    11. If you are scheduling the same post to be published on multiple accounts, select the interval between the posting on different accounts in the Time gap between posting (in minutes). The number you enter will be in minutes.

  • Can I post in my personal Facebook profile?

    No, as per Facebook policies and regulations you cannot schedule posts on your personal Facebook profile.

    Meanwhile, posting on Facebook business pages and Facebook groups where you are an admin is available with all SocialQ

    Please note that as per Facebook policies and regulations you cannot post on Facebook groups where you don’t have an admin access.

  • Can I post in Facebook groups?

    Posting in Facebook groups where you are an admin is available with all SocialQ

    As per Facebook policies and regulations you cannot post in Facebook groups where you don’t have an admin access.

  • Can I schedule posts in Facebook groups where I am a member?

    No, as per Facebook policies and regulations you cannot schedule posts in Facebook groups where you are just a member from SocialQ.

    You can schedule posts in Facebook groups where you are an admin with all SocialQ.

  • Is posting on LinkedIn included?

    Posting on LinkedIn is available with SocialQ all plans. You can connect and post on both LinkedIn personal pages and LinkedIn business pages.

  • Can I post on both LinkedIn personal pages and business pages?

    Yes, absolutely. You can post on both your LinkedIn personal profile and LinkedIn business pages with SocialQ all plans.

  • Is posting on YouTube included?

    Posting videos on YouTube is available with SocialQ Premium plan.

  • Is posting on Twitter included?

    Posting on Twitter is available with all SocialQ plans.

  • How to Use the Watermark Tool

    1. 1) Click on the Watermark tab in the left-hand side menu of your SocialQ dashboard.
    2. 2) You can choose whether to add a Default Watermark which will appear on all your photo social media posts scheduled on SocialQ or to add a Watermark for a specific account connected to your dashboard.
    3. 3) Click on Upload.
    4. 4)Choose and add the logo that you want to set as a watermark.
    5. 5)Set up the Position of the watermark as desired.
    6. 6)Set up the Size of the watermark based on your preferences.
    7. 7) Set up the Transparency of the watermark.
    8. 8) Click on Save when you are happy with the way the watermark will look on your photo social media posts.

    To delete or change the logo in the watermark, click on Delete and repeat the steps above to add a new logo or other 

    You can set up customized watermarks for each of your social media accounts available on SocialQ by repeating the steps above.

    Now when you schedule posts on the social media account(s) for which you have set up a watermark through SocialQ, the logo will be automatically added to your images

  • How to Use the File Manager ?

    1. 1) Click on the File Manager tab in the left-hand side menu of your SocialQ dashboard.
    2. 2) The File Manager is where all photos and videos that you have uploaded on SocialQ get stored.
    3. In the File Manager you can upload photos and videos from:
      • Your device: mobile or desktop
      • Google Drive
      • Media links
    4. You can filter your files by keywords in the title with which you uploaded them to the File Manager.
    5. You can view:
      • All files
      • All images
      • All videos
    6. You can access media info including:
      • Number of uploaded images and total size
      • Number of uploaded videos and total size
      • Total storage size on your File Manager
    7. When scheduling a post, click on File Manager to access all your already uploaded files and use them in your social media posts.
